Aldi made an "error" in delivering English rugby shirts to its Welshpool store instead of Welsh ones.
People on social media questioned why Aldi had not stocked Welsh mechanise for the Rugby World Cup in the Powys store.
When the supermarket was contacted, a spokesperson said: "The merchandise was delivered in error but Welsh rugby Specialbuys are now available at the Welshpool store."
Commenting on the mistake, Welsh independence group YesWelshpool said: "Aldi are one of the better supermarkets for Welsh representation - they're one of the very few whose stores are fully bilingual (with some great bilingual staff) - so let's just hope this was an error and that all Welsh supermarkets stock properly in the run up to the World Cup! We'll be out, talking with people in many a pub during the RWC, about Wales' future."
The Rugby World Cup 2019 takes place in Japan, and kick-starts on Friday, September 20.
