A new school recycling project has been launched by a business near Oswestry.
The British Ironwork Centre has launched the National Bottle Top Recycling Challenge which will ask schoolchildren to donate bottle tops to fill a series of metal giraffe-shaped sculptures.
It follows on from successful similar projects when pupils filled gorilla shaped cages with recyclable products.
A spokesperson said: "This project is designed to teach school children about the importance of recycling, innovation and animal conservation, while showing our little ones that we can make a difference to our environment.
"Has your school got what it takes to fill one of these colourful giraffes with used bottle tops? Will our necks be long enough?"
The project is free to take part in, with some exciting prizes up for grabs for the school who collects the most.
