Oswestry Cambrian Rotary Club is calling for new members to join their activities.
The club, which meets informally at the Wynnstay Hotel in Church Street every Thursday from 7.30pm onward, is looking for people who are new to the town, want to make a new circle of friends or just get involved in helping the community.
Mike Lade, from the club, says the fee to join is the same as a cup of coffee a week, and urges anyone to join.
"It's no upfront fee, just a direct debit charge of £8 a month
"If you are considering volunteer work then Oswestry Cambrian club is ready to welcome men and women of 18 plus from the community as Rotarians or as Friends of Rotary. We are never short of projects and are a club of community action in Oswestry so come and join us and get involved."
