AN AIR ambulance has been called to provide 'urgent medical attention' at an incident in Gwersyllt this afternoon.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We were called on Wednesday, September 4, at approximately 12.18pm to reports of a person needing urgent medical attention in Gwersyllt. We responded with one emergency ambulance and an ambulance officer and our crew was supported by the Wales Air Ambulance."
The service confirmed that one patient was transported by air ambulance to the Maelor Hospital in Wrexham.
