FIREFIGHTERS were called to reports of a property fire in Ellesmere on Tuesday afternoon.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 2.11pm about a house fire in Brown Heath.
Two fire engines including the aerial ladder platform were sent from Ellesmere and Wem. An operations officer was also in attendance.
Crews discovered a fire involving a light-fitting in a bedroom of the property.
Two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet were used.
The fire was out by 2.36pm.
