A FIREFIGHTER who has served the Llanfair Caereinion community for more than two decades has been honoured.
Firefighter Graham Rees, from Llanfair Caereinion, was presented with a Long Service Medal at the town’s fire station on Watergate Street.
He was rewarded for his 20-year dedication to the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
Station Manager Richards presented FF Rees with the medal in front of the Llanfair Caereinion crew he has served with for almost 22 years.
Craig Thomas, head of operational response Powys Command of the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, said: “Congratulations and huge thanks for amazing service.”
Posting on their Twitter page, Powys Command added: “Amazing service, thank you from everyone in Powys.”
