Three people were taken to hospital after a crash between Bala and Llandderfel in which a car overturned.
Motorists were urged to avoid a single carriageway while emergency services attended the incident on the B4391 between Bala and Llandderfel.
A spokeswoman for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service Control confirmed that two fire crew appliances from Bala and Corwen were sent to the incident at around 10am this morning.
Heavy duty cutting equipment, plus spreaders and StabFast stabilisation equipment was used to free two of the casualties from a car.
Three casualties were subsequently taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
North Wales Police tweeted at 12.53: "The B4391 east to the junction of the B4402 near Llandderfel is now open again.
"Thank you for your patience."
