THE TEENAGE daughter of one of the founders of Wrexham conglomerate, Moneypenny, has died while on holiday.
Josie Clacher, 18, daughter of Rachel Clacher who co-founded Wrexham based Moneypenny in 2000, was reportedly found at the bottom of a pool after a night out.
The incident is reported to have happened on Tuesday morning at a villa in which the family were staying, in the town of Alaro in Majorca.
Josie studied at Moreton Hall School in Weston Rhyn.
Her mum Rachel, who was also staying at the villa, founded Wrexham based Moneypenny back at the turn of the millennium with Ed Reeves. The company is an international telephone answering service said to be worth more than £100m.
A spokesman from Moneypenny has said: "Everyone at Moneypenny is extremely shocked, sad and devastated to hear the news, and of course, our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this very difficult time."
A Foreign and Commonwealth Office spokesperson said: “We are supporting the family of a British woman following her death in Majorca, and are in contact with the Spanish authorities”
