Areas of the dig on the Chirk Castle grounds
Chirk Castle has announced it will be closing on Saturday because of the forecast high winds.
There is a yellow weather warning around the whole United Kingdom and the management of the castle and its estate grounds have taken the decision to not risk safety by allowing entry.
