HUNDREDS of people flocked to Oswestry’s Cae Glas Park recently for an annual fun day.
TNS in the Park – which is a free family event – made its return to the town on Saturday, July 13 and the sun held out for what turned out to be a day jam-packed full of various activities in aid of The New Saints FC Foundation.
Speaking about the popular event, a spokesman for TNS said: “This year’s attendance was superb and we enjoyed great weather once more, with hundreds of children joining in with the fun.”
Visitors to the park enjoyed football, tennis, t-shirt-making, face painting and spike ball, among many other activities – Spot the Dog, TNS’ mascot was also in attendance.
The main highlight of the day however; was a visit from the TNS FC first team squad who dropped by the park after a morning training session at The Venue at Park Hall.
