A MID Wales woman who is alleged to have put a lit piece of paper through a neighbour's cat flap was remanded in custody on Wednesday.
Maria Beth Stephens, 49, of Llys Nant, Llanidloes, appeared from custody at North East Wales Magistrates' Court at Mold.
There was no application for bail and her case was sent to the crown court, where she will appear in August.
She is charged with reckless arson on Monday, July 15, when it is alleged that she damaged by fire curtains, a carpet and a cat flap.
