THE woman in a wedding photo which was found in a book bought in an Oswestry charity shop, has been found.
An appeal in last week’s Advertizer to find the woman in question has been successful after the bride came forward to say it was her.
The man who found the photo – Keith Bainbridge, from Chichester – was passing through Oswestry with his wife en-route to North Wales when he decided to buy a book for his travels.
He came across the wedding photo along with a note and was hoping to find the mystery woman to reunite her with it.
He and his wife are delighted to have received the good news that the bride has been found.
Mrs Bainbridge said: “We got back from our trip to three messages on our phone, one from the lady on the photo.
“Isn’t it just wonderful, amazing news. I will be ringing her to arrange sending the photo back.”
