An Oswestry man has denied deliberately downloading more than 2,000 indecent images of children.
Paul Allen Hughes, 47, pleaded not guilty to four charges when he appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court this week.
He denies making 185 images in category A, the most serious, 196 in category B and 1,763 in category C and a further allegation of possessing a prohibited image of a child.
The case was adjourned for trial until February 4 next year and Hughes, of Park Street, Oswestry, was allowed bail.
