The Advertizer is looking forward to joining you all at the Oswestry Food and Drink Festival on Saturday.

There are expected to be hundreds to thousands of people heading into the town centre over the two days to enjoy the best of local, British, European and even world food and drink.

Organisers believe the food and drink festival will be the biggest ‘streetfeast’ they have ever created, promising an atmosphere that is chilled and local.

Advertizer staff will be at the bottom of Bailey Street at the junction with Cross Street and will be on hand to help you with any questions regarding your local paper, plus we will be giving out goodie bags for £1.

The event is being helped in conjunction with Oswestry Town Council and P&S Electrical Contractors Ltd.

There will be stalls up and down Bailey Street offering food, drink, and local produce and crafts as well, while bands will be on hand to provide entertainment across the town and on the Bailey Head and there will be plenty of volunteers on hand to help plot their way around the stalls.

Organisers said: “To each and every one who helps us steward traffic, put covers on stalls, clean litter, look after the festival stall – you have our grateful thanks.”

The event is free and will run from 10am until 4pm on both days.
