The sun is out and there’s plenty of smiling faces in this week’s Advertizer Bygones.
As the weekend just gone saw Chirk host its annual Fun Day (for more see pages 32 and 33 of this week’s Tizer) we thought it would be the right time to crack out some images from the Chirk Fete of August 1985.
From the fete queen surrounded by her attendants, to fantastic homemade treats in the cake tent, a rendition of Punch and Judy, and game of buzz wire and a lucky dip, there was certainly something for everyone – just like the recent event at the Chirk AAAs.
