AN AIR ambulance has been called to a medical emergency in Oswestry.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to an address on College Road at 9.06am following reports of a medical emergency.
Two ambulances, a community first responder and the Welsh Air Ambulance were called to the scene.
The air ambulance landed on the playing fields of Holy Trinity CofE school, but had to leave without the casualty because of encroaching weather.
Medical personnel remained at the scene and one woman was taken to hospital by land ambulance.
