WREXHAM Council have confirmed they are currently investigating an incident on Wrexham Industrial Estate earlier this week.
A man was taken to hospital after he became trapped in a forklift truck.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly before 11.45pm on Tuesday reporting an incident in Ash Road, Wrexham Industrial Estate.
Two fire engines and a technical rescue unit were sent to the scene, as were the Welsh Ambulance Service and North Wales Police, as a man had become trapped inside a forklift truck after storage racking had fallen onto it.
Firefighters assisted in removing the man from the vehicle, after which he was taken to hospital.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We attended with an emergency ambulance and conveyed on adult male patient to Wrexham Maelor Hospital in a stable condition."
The Leader approached the Health and Safety Executive who said: "We can confirm we put in initial enquiries into the incident.
"However, we have since ascertained that the local authority are leading the investigation into the incident."
A spokesperson from Wrexham Council said: "I can confirm that an investigation is ongoing into this incident."
