WHITCHURCH Post Office is closed until further notice following reports of a robbery.
On Monday morning staff at the post office reported online they would be closed until further notice following an 'incident'.
West Mercia Police have since confirmed that a robbery took place shortly before 11am.
A man is understood to have entered the post office and pushed a staff member before taking a quantity of cash from the till.
He is believed to have left the premises and headed towards the High Street.
Investigations are ongoing but officers are keen to speak to people who saw anyone acting suspiciously, who witnessed the incident or anyone who was in the area or post office at the time.
