A Montgomeryshire art group has been given a boost - after winning the support of internationally renowned artist Andrew Logan.

Celf-Able, a group run by disabled and disability artists, provide opportunities for people to get together and do art, share and learn from each other and is open to all ages and abilities.

Now Berriew artist Andrew Logan has agreed to be one of the group's patrons, and has also designed a postcard to raise funds for the organisation.

The card will be on sale at Celf Able's ‘secret art sale’, which will be held at Oriel Davies on Saturday July 20 from 1.00-3.30.

Various artists are providing decorated postcards, which will be sold in sealed envelopes, and the group also have some original artworks for a ‘lucky squares’ sale, a print from Newtown artist Brian Jones, Brooks artist Linda Jane James, Celf-Able members and others.

A meeting will also be held at Mid-Wales Arts Centre, Caersws on June 26.

There is a session fee for non-members of £5, £3 for members. The group is funded by Fund in Wales, Powys Community Endowment Fund, Powys Church Acts Fund and Ashley Family Foundation.
