A FASHION show in aid of the League of Friends to the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital has raised just under £1,000 for the charity.

The Oswestry branch of the League of Friends held the show at M&Co, in Cross Street last month

Volunteer models took to the catwalk in store to showcase a range of clothes from the high street giant in front of a 100 guests.

Moya Holmes, branch treasurer, said: “The evening went extremely well, myself and all of the other models thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thanks must go to the other branch members for all of their help and to the fantastic team at M&Co for their support."

Victoria Sugden, The League of Friends charity director, added: “They put on a really fun and glamorous evening, everyone loved taking part and raising vital funds for the hospital.

"We are so grateful to the team at M&Co who could not have been more accommodating in hosting and planning the show."
