Commuters between Wrexham and Shrewsbury, including from Chirk and Gobowen, are facing travel chaos on Wednesday because of the heavy rains.
The line which serves the two stations has been closed because of flooding and will be closed for the foreseeable future β potentially all the way into the afternoon, with more rain expected.
Transport for Wales has confirmed rail replacements buses are in place to ferry passengers.
A Transport for Wales spokesperson said: βThe line between Shrewsbury, Gobowen and Chester remains closed due to flooding earlier today.
"Replacement road transport is in place and tickets for travel today will also now be valid tomorrow.
"We are working closely with our partners in Network Rail to minimise the disruption to customers and will return to normal services as soon as is safely possible.β
