LINDSTRAND Technologies has moved to reassure people their balloon festival is still going ahead this summer.
Concerns were raised on Tuesday afternoon after the event appeared to have been cancelled on Facebook.
The company has since reassured people after a number of businesses became concerned when they saw the event had been removed on social media.
A spokesman for Lindstrand said: "Due to a technical issue the Facebook event page was cancelled.
"The event has not been cancelled.
"Please like and share the new event for updates."
