OSWESTRY and surrounding areas will be displaying visual arts again this summer.
The Borderland Visual Arts (BVA) will open their doors to public once again, to share and promote locally-produced visual art by 23 artists.
The Open Studios event will take place over the weekends of June 8-9 and June 15-16 and displays will be shown in 15 studios from Chirk to Pant but predominantly in Oswestry.
It will be a great opportunity to see where and how the artists work with some 'in progress' art to view and demonstrations from the artists on how they produce their work.
There will also be a complementary 'taster' exhibition in the Willow Gallery in Oswestry from now until June 29 and a display of drawings at Oswestry Library throughout this month.
Although much of the work is for sale, there is no obligation to buy.
Detailed guides for the art trail can be picked up at libraries, galleries, and Tourist Information Centres or you can download one from the group's website, www.borderlandvisualarts.com
