A man has been airlifted to hospital after a crash between Llandrinio and Crew Green this afternoon (Monday, June 3).
Police said the two-vehicle collision between a Honda Civic and Transit Van took place on the B4394 outside Coppice Farm in Criggion.
The incident was reported to Dyfed Powys police at 1.26pm. The road was closed but reopened just after 4pm.
The Civic driver sustained serious injuries, the police said, and was airlifted to hospital.
A nurse who was first on the scene told the County Times that the man is 68 years old and from Wolverhampton, and that he drove into a tree, with no other people involved.
