FIREFIGHTERS were called out late last night to a blaze near Llansilin.
Two engines were dispatched from Oswestry to a two acre field, which was half ablaze at around 10pm on Tuesday.
The incident was tackled using beaters and knapsack sprayers as well as a fogging machine to put out the fire.
The blaze was extinguished roughly an hour later at 11pm.
