THOSE looking for a relaxing way to spend their bank holiday didn't have to travel far this weekend.
A garden open day at Kingsleigh in Coton was the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon for many, as dozens made the most of the weather to flock and enjoy the floral display.
Visitors to the house had the opportunity to not only view the gardens, but see the alpacas, purchase plants and enjoy a spot of afternoon tea.
Anne Hopsley said: "We haven't done anything like this in a while, but the turnout's been brilliant. The weather's helped, it's been very exciting.
"Everyone's had a look at the gardens, and my daughter's brought her alpacas. But we've also had a plant sale, book sale - people are very interested.
"We've been here a long time, since the eighties, and the garden has evolved since then. So we're thrilled to bits that people want to come and see it."
