A PERSON has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving near Oswestry on Thursday.
Police attended a road traffic collision (RTC) at around 8.30am near Gledrid in which a vehicle had failed to stop.
After locating the vehicle involved, police officers carried out a search.
They arrested the driver on suspicion of drink-driving and for having no insurance.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) on Twitter said: “Fail to stop RTC on Gledrid.
“Vehicle located after a search, stopped and the driver was arrested for sus of drink drive and no insurance [sic].”
