PLASTIC-Free campaigners were getting good support from members of the public at their stall at Oswestry Market on Saturday.

Mandy Price's Do It for David campaign was inspired by David Attenborough's Blue Planet II show which highlighted the issue of plastic in the oceans.

The former art and drama teacher at Oswestry School is encouraging people to be more aware of plastic pollution through the message of Retrieve, Reduce, Reuse and Recyle and her Plastic-Free business promotes products such as rubber flip-flops made in Uganda from old car tyres.

Mandy said: "I definitely think people are becoming more aware of the issue and you can see more businesses taking action. Our Plastic-Free stall has been to artisan markets in Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Llanidloes so we are getting the message across."
