Val Brown, of Dementia Friendly Oswestry, said: "Dementia Friendly Oswestry is a way of getting organisations, small and large, to take action to make it easier for people living with dementia to remain active and involved in their communities.

"We also want to increase understanding of what dementia is, and to reduce the fear and stigma surrounding dementia."
