PETITION which could see Brecon and Radnor MP Chris Davies lose his seat opens this morning, Thursday, May 9.

Mr Davies was fined £1,500 and ordered to carry out 50 hours of community service for submitting two false expenses invoices for landscape photographs to decorate his new office at a hearing in Southwark on Tuesday, April 23.

The conviction triggered an automatic recall petition which, if signed by 10 per cent of eligible voters in the constituency, will trigger a by-election for the seat.
