Chirk AAA 0

FC Nomads 2

After picking up a point midweek against Brymbo, Chirk AAA suffered a home defeat at the hands of FC Nomads.

The Colliers remain eighth in the table after conceding two goals and failing to respond in their weekend fixture.

Despite a good performance midweek to earn a point, Chirk failed to find the net in their weekend fixture, and now sit four points behind Llay Welfare in seventh.

They will be looking to get back to winning ways when they take on Rhos Aelwyd on Wednesday at Holyhead Road (kick off 6.30pm).

Chirk are in action again on Saturday when they face Hawarden Rangers away (kick off 2.30pm).

Elsewhere in the Welsh National League Premier Division, Queens Park showed why they sit top of the table with an 11-0 win over Brickfield Rangers.

Penycae moved another place away from the foot of the table with a 5-1 win over Rhostyllen.

Mold Alexandra won 6-0 against Llay Welfare.

Two of the sides top teams in Corwen and Brymbo faced off, with Brymbo winning 2-1. Rhos Aelwyd drew 0-0 with Llanuwchllyn.
