A PERSON received medical treatment after a crash in Welshampton on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle collision near the Sun Inn at around 11am.

Four fire appliances from Ellesmere, Wellington and Wem attended the incident along with the West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Fire crews made the vehicle safe by using small gear to make one saloon vehicle on its side safe.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called just before 11am with reports of a two-vehicle RTC outside the Sun Inn pub.

"One ambulance attended the incident and treated a patient from the overturned vehicle for minor injuries.

"The patient was discharged at the scene."
