A GOLDEN ticket event has raised over £4,000 for charity

The Golden Ticket Charity Ball, organised by businesswoman Sally Rogers, took place on Saturday, March 9 at Park Hall Pavillion in Oswestry.

The evening was a fantastic success and began with guests being greeted by the incredible Willy Wonka and the Oompa Loompas.

Guests were served a delicious three course meal before dancing the night away to rock band Monstaball. During the evening, an auction was held to raise money for Sally’s chosen charity; Hope House Children’s Hospices with a total of £4117.05 being raised on the night.

Over the past 20 years Sally has been fundraising for a number of different charities, raising an incredible £89,000 over the last two decades. This total has now topped £93,000 following the golden ticket event.

“We are so grateful to Sally and everyone who supported her event for raising such an incredible amount for Hope House” said Lynsey Kilvert Hope House Fundraiser “Over 80 per cent of the monies we need to help support local seriously ill babies, children , young adults and their families come from people in our community.

"Without them, we simply would not exist. Thanks to Sally and her guests, we will do everything we can to ensure that no family suffers the death of a child alone”.
