A project to help shape the future of Lake Vyrnwy is set to hold a public consultation event this week.

On Thursday, April 11, The Lake Vyrnwy Experience Project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, will be giving the public a chance to gain more detail about the project and to input their thoughts into the work that organisers hope will take place over the next four years.

The project aims to improve Lake Vyrnwy’s natural and cultural heritage and increase people’s engagement with it.

"We aim to reflect your needs and desires in the areas of the project that will interest you the most, as well as giving you a chance to engage with us and the site in the future, " said a spokesperson.

"This is also your opportunity to make sure we are aware of existing skills, knowledge and expertise within the area that we could potentially draw upon during the project."

The event gets underway at 3pm at Llanwddyn Community Centre and runs until 7pm.
