STAFF, trustees and children at Woodside Primary School are celebrating after retaining their good rating following their recent Ofsted inspection.

The school is now looking forward to building on its strengths and areas for development to continue to provide Woodside children with the best education possible.

Headteacher, Claire Bennett, said: “The report clearly recognises the hard work and dedication of everyone at Woodside.

"We are particularly delighted that the inspectors picked up on the caring, inclusive culture of our school. The inspectors were very positive about leadership and teaching across our school.

In the Ofsted report the inspectors said: “Pupils are very proud of their school and enjoy their learning. In class, pupils are enthusiastic and well-behaved.

“Pupils enjoy excellent relationships with staff. The care of your pupils is at the heart of the culture you have created.

"From the moment they start the school day, to the moment they leave for home, pupils are encouraged to try their best.”
