RESIDENTS are being asked for their views on how a £1million fund for the Three Parishes should be spent.

Three Parishes Big Local – the volunteers behind the 10 year Big Lottery investment programme in Gobowen, St Martins and Weston Rhyn – is asking local residents for help in planning how the Big Lottery funding is invested in these communities over the next three years.

‘The Big Chat’ survey launches on April 11 and gives anyone who lives or works in these three villages the chance to tell Three Parishes Big Local what they think about some ideas that have been put forward, as well as a chance to suggest their own ideas.

The survey will be available as printed leaflets, on www.big-local.org, and on the @3PBigLocal facebook page.

Residents are also invited to talk to Three Parishes Big Local at several Big Chat events:

St Martins Centre – Saturday, April 27 – 10.30am to 12:30pm

Gobowen Station – Tuesday, April 30 – 3:30pm to 6pm

St John's Church Weston Rhyn – Thursday, May 2 – 10.30am to 2pm.

Three Parishes Big Local Chairman, Nick Heard, said "Views and ideas from local people are vital in making sure that we get our planning right. We are hoping that people will take this opportunity to tell us what they think.

"We are trying to get a copy of the survey out to as many people as possible but anyone who doesn’t get a printed copy through their door can get in touch with us and ask for a copy, complete the survey online or pick one up at St Martins Centre, Gobowen Station or Weston Rhyn Institute."

Returned surveys and anyone who comes along to a Big Chat event to talk to Three Parishes Big Local will be entered into a draw to win a £50 Love to Shop voucher.

Full terms and conditions of the draw are available on the Three Parishes Big Local website and facebook page.
