AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a Denbigh man found with serious neck injuries.
Police and ambulance crews were called to John Michael Davies’ home in New Road, Denbigh, on March 26, after he was found unconscious at the rear of the property.
Home Office pathologist Dr Brian Rodgers carried out a post-mortem examination and found that Mr Davies, 48, had severed his jugular and carotid arteries.
At a hearing in Ruthin John Gittins, coroner for North Wales East and Central, said that the police were not conducting any further investigation.
The inquest was adjourned to a full hearing later in the year.
