A TIRELESS fundraiser will don her running shoes once again to take on the world’s most famous marathon in memory of her father.
Julie Davies, 43, of Oswestry, will run the London Marathon on Sunday, April 28 to raise funds for Severn Hospice.
It is the seventh time Julie has run the marathon for the hospice, raising around £30,000 at this and other events, including the Manchester and Snowdonia marathons.
The fundraising started after her father Jim Lloyd died from bowel cancer nearly six years ago, aged 64.
Julie decided to help the hospice after the care provided to her father and family.
A fundraising night at the Last Inn, Hengoed in December raised £1337 towards the cause.
