The A5 at Gobowen has been reopened following a fatal collision in the early hours.
Police and Highways England closed the road between the Orthopaedic and Gledrid roundabout following the incident at 12.30am.
A diversion was set up via St Martins and Gobowen and both villages have been congested throughout the morning.
A further collision has been reported in Gobowen.
Highways England confirmed the A5 had reopened shortly before 10.45am.
Carraigeway now reopened in both directions from #A5 between #Gobowen roundabout #B5009 and #Gledrid services following a serious incident.
