EMERGENCY services have been called to two collisions at a crossroads near Oswestry in a matter of days.

A car and a lorry were involved in a collision on the A483 at the Llynclys crossroads at 5.15am (Monday, March 11).

A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "The road was closed for a short time to allow vehicles to be recovered. It’s not believed anyone was injured."

The latest crash comes after a three-car collision on Friday evening.

A West Midlands Ambulance spokesman said two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended.

"Two patients were discharged at the scene for minor injuries and a woman was taken to Royal Shrewsbury hospital with injuries not believed to be serious," he added.
