A GIGANTIC sculpture which was created near Oswestry could be set to appear on a national TV show.
The British Ironwork Centre has announced that ITV show This Morning has asked about featuring the Knife Angel on tomorrow's (Thursday, March 7) show.
A statement on the centre's Facebook page said: "This morning we received a very important call from ITV with regards to having the Knife Angel featured on tomorrow morning's This Morning breakfast show!
"We have been pulling out all the stops today to try and make this momentous opportunity happen, obtaining prices from hauliers and crane companies, and organizing to get the sculpture to London ASAP.
"This time tomorrow, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield may well be stood beside the Angel on national television!
"This will be an incredible opportunity to get the Angel's voice heard even further afield through highlighting the importance of knife crime awareness and educating our youth."
The Knife Angel was created by Alfie Bradley and aims to highlight the problem of knife crime.
It has been on a tour of UK cities for several months, visiting Liverpool and Hull, and is set for a stay in Coventry.
Ironworks boss Clive Knowles has voice his goal of taking the Knife Angel to be displayed in London.
