A MID Wales man has denied wounding charges when he appeared at Mold Crown Court.

Defendant Sam Williams, 24, of Grungrog Hill, Welshpool, pleaded not guilty to alternative charges of wounding with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm (GBH) and wounding.

He also denied damaging property on July 29 last year, and a further common assault in September.

Judge Niclas Parry rebailed him pending trial at Caernarfon Crown Court on July 8.
