FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with a chimney fire in Oswestry.
Two appliances from Oswestry were called to Fort View shortly after 10pm (Thursday, February 8).
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "This incident was a chimney fire involving a log burner, crews used chimney rods and thermal image camera, re-inspection to take place later."
Firefighters finished at the scene shortly before 11pm.
