YOBS have caused damage to businesses and lorries in and around Oswestry.
West Mercia Police are investigating several reports of ball bearing, nuts and bolts being used to damage windows and property in the area in recent days.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhoods Team tweeted an appeal for information earlier this week, saying that no-one had been hurt but "a lot of damage had been caused".
An SNT spokesman told the Advertizer that there had been "six or seven reports of this", with damage caused to large panes of glass in businesses and lorries.
"Ball bearings and nuts have been used to cause the damage - most of which have been found by the victims.
"It seems to be happening over night and we are very keen to find the person(s) responsible."
Anyone with information on the incidents can contact West Mercia Police on 101.
