Cylch Meithrin Llanfair Caereinion has received the second-highest rating given by inspectors Estyn.
The Welsh medium early-years setting has been rated as ‘Good’ following an inspection in October 2018.
Inspectors praised the well-behaved children for their “positive attitudes towards new experiences” and described the setting as “an intelligent learning community”.

The report added: “They follow instructions promptly and sing Welsh nursery rhymes and songs enthusiastically. As a result, a majority are natural and intelligent speakers.”
A Cylch Meithrin spokesperson said: “We are delighted that Cylch has given more than 50 years of service to the children of Llanfair Caereinion.
“A number of very positive points have come out of the report which is evidence of our aspiration to introduce a quality and inclusive service through the medium of Welsh for the little children of Llanfair Caereinion and the surrounding area.”
