AN ESTATE agent has been recognised in a national awards ceremony.

Gold and silver awards have been presented to estate agents and chartered surveyors Morris, Marshall and Poole with Norman Lloyd (MMP/NL) at the UK Guild of Property Professionals Awards in London.

MMP/NL – which has offices in Oswestry and Welshpool – was awarded gold in the Wales Regional Lettings Awards category and silver in the Wales Regional Sales Awards category.

The awards are recognised as one of the most prestigious in the UK property industry.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with the awards. Once again we have been recognised for the pride our team places the care and attention to clients and how we are one of the leading independent estate agents,” said Andrew Turner, a partner at MMP/NL.

“Last year we saw the merger of MMP with Norman Lloyd which has strengthened our presence in Mid Wales and Shropshire. As an independent company we place our local communities at the heart of the business.

“It is a competitive market out there, but we have invested continually in the methods we use. The awards we have receive endorse our approach to having people on the ground in our high street offices dealing with customers, as well as our continued investment in new technology to provide us and our customers with a strong online marketing presence.”

MMP/NL has a combined experience of nearly 250 years in the area and has offices in Shropshire Powys, Ceredigion, and south Gwynedd.

In the 2018 awards MMP/NL was the gold winner for the Wales Regional Sales Awards and gold winner for the Wales Regional Lettings Awards.

Commenting on the awards, Iain McKenzie, CEO of The Guild of Property Professionals, said: This year's entries were excellent and gave the judges and myself a lot to consider - it makes me immensely proud to be CEO of such a professional network.”
