CHIRK CASTLE has secured funding to repave the damaged car park.
Works to repair the damaged car park will start today and are scheduled to take around two to three weeks.
A spokesman for Chirk Castle said: “Regular visitors to Chirk will know that our car park has had an issue with flooding and potholes for some time.
“I’m delighted to announce that we have secured permission and funding for improvements to the bottom end of the car park.
“Works will start Tuesday this week, and will last two to three weeks.
“There will be machines around in the car park, and it will be noisy at times. Please bear with us through any disruption.
“Our January programme of activities will continue, and there will be plenty of parking spaces on site.
“Please follow signs if any route changes on the drive are needed.”
