AN OSWESTRY man has died after a collision in Cumbria.

Ben Oakley, 34, died after the two-vehicle collision on the M6 in Kendal on Monday.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: "The collision involved a red Renault Megane and a blue Scania Artic, both travelling northbound at the time. The driver of the Renault Megane was pronounced dead at the scene."

The driver of the second vehicle – a man in his 40s and also from outside Cumbria – was uninjured.
