A woman who died in a car crash near Churchstoke has been named as June Ferguson.
The 64-year-old businesswoman, from Churchstoke, died after her Nissan Qashqai was found crashed into a hedge near the Blue Bell Hotel on Tuesday, November 27.
Mrs Ferguson was the owner of Kerry Vale Vineyard, on the English-Welsh border, and ran the business with her husband Geoff, daughter Nadine and son-in-law Dan for almost 10 years.
The grandmother of two has been described as "very successful and hard working" who built up her business from scratch, and employed many people from the area.
The crash happened at around 7.20pm on November 27 on the crossroads of the A489/B4385 junction; less than a quarter of a mile from the vineyard.
Emergency services, including police, fire and ambulance crews, were called to the incident but sadly Mrs Ferguson passed away at the scene.
West Mercia Police has appealed for anyone who saw what happened to contact them on 101 quoting 665S of 27 November.
