Second Ellesmere Brownies have been given a donation towards their hard work with young people in the town.
Chair of the trustees of the Ellesmere Community Care Centre League of Friends, Doreen Roberts, presented a donation to Caroline Ford of the Second Ellesmere Brownies.
Caroline said: “The Brownies would like to say a huge thank you to the League of Friends Shop, Ellesmere for there generous donation towards the work we do with young people in the town.
“This money will sponsor a sporting magic workshop to be held in Ellesmere in May next year and support our summer camp to keep costs down.
“We aim to make guiding accessible to all.”
The League of Friends Charity Shop in Scotland Street, is always seeking new volunteers. If you would like to help and can offer two or three hours each week, call in the shop or telephone Doreen on 01691 623217.
